Full Job Description

We are a locally owned and operated family jewelry store. We have been running a successful and fun business for over two decades! We are looking for a Shopify Product manager to help with the upkeep of our online presence to ensure we are giving our customers the latest products we have coming into the shop! You would be working directly with one of our team members in the store on a part-time basis.

  • Must be proficient in the Shopify platform.
  • An interest in jewelry or learning more about the jewelry industry
  • Must be able to edit and change existing Shopify website pages to meet the needs of the owner and online business strategy.
  • Must know how to tweak product description copy where necessary to increase sales and views on Shopify site.
  • Team player & good at communicating with others
  • A good attention to detail especially when it comes to being meticulous with our vendor products
  • Understanding of ecommerce and basic website tools (site search, product taxonomy, metadata and product management, page building)
  • Not required but helpful skills include knowledge of SEO, HTML and CSS, feed management or other site integration experience also a plus
  • Helpful to have analytical skills and ability to identify solutions to business problems, especially for future growth opportunities - Google Analytics knowledge highly desirable

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for managing internal site search, including daily review of top and trending search terms, boosting products, brands and categories, regular reporting of what's being searched and overall enhancement of the tool to increase conversion and revenue
  • Set up new products and editing existing products on Shopify site
  • Partner with Marketing team to create and edit new pages and categories based on priorities or initiatives that the store is rolling out
  • Assist with finding and implementing new tools or site enhancements that increase efficiency and drive higher conversion rate
  • Troubleshoot & fix issues that relate to websites, including learning custom-built tools and processes to effectively manage feeds and other site integrations
  • Report bugs and site issues -- logging tickets, following-up with developers, testing bug fixes
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
